I've been attending Miro's Fitness classes for a few months now, just going once a week, and have seen a huge improvement in my strength and mobility. I can manage moves I thought I had lost forever, having broken a kneecap two years ago and suffered a horrible accident last year. I realised recently that the awful back pain I had following the accident has now gone. Not ashamed to say I'm 76 years old, its never too late to try and regain strength, balance and mobility.

The ultimate fitness class After turning 60, I suddenly realized that my body had changed for the worse: less muscle, reduced mobility, decreased stamina, weight gain around the abdomen, etc. I decided it was time to do something about it. Miro offers exercise classes in his small private studio in Chiclana twice a week (instructions are given in English and Spanish). The exercises are suitable for everyone and include warm-ups, stretching, strength training with weights, as well as relaxation exercises. Since I started attending these classes regularly, my body has changed a lot – visibly as well. I have lost weight, built muscles and become much more agile. For me, it’s the ultimate class – and it could well be for you, too: a great trainer, varied and enjoyable workouts with lovely people (all around my age, in small groups), a perfect location and a very reasonable monthly fee.

Started going to Miro's Fitness Studio when another keep-fit class closed. A great class for the older body to maintain fitness, strength and functionality all at your own pace. Small, friendly classes with personal training if required - give it a go.

Ich bin seit Oktober 1x in der Woche im El buho estudio de Fitness und es gefällt mir sehr gut. Die Kurse, mit ca.4-6 Personen, sind super gestaltet, so dass auch niemand überfordert oder unterfordert ist. Sie sind für alle Altersklassen geeignet. In der Gruppe sind Deutsche, Spanier u. Engländer. Sprachbarrieren gibt es nicht. Der Trainer ( Miro ), gestaltet das Training abwechslungsreich und mit viel Freude. Das Training selbst besteht aus, aufwärmen, fitboxing paarweise, zirkeltraining und cooldowns. Zwischendurch kleine Verschnaufpausen. Ich werde gerne nochmal ab Oktober dabei sein. Seit einiger Zeit bietet er auch samstags einen parkrun im Chiclana Park an. ( Du kannst 5 km in der Gruppe laufen oder auch in der Gruppe walken ). I've been going to El Buho estudio de Fitness once a week since October and I really enjoy it. The classes, with about 4-6 people, are very well structured so that no one is overwhelmed or underwhelmed. They're suitable for all ages. The group includes Germans, Spaniards, and English speakers. There are no language barriers. The trainer (Miro) makes the training varied and fun. The training itself consists of a warm-up, partner fitboxing, circuit training, and cool-downs. There are also short breaks in between. I'd love to go again starting in October. For some time now, he's also been offering a parkrun in Chiclana Park on Saturdays. (You can run or walk 5 km in a group).
